2014 was hectic for weddings! We had weddings all around the UK, into Europe and also setup a connection with a lovely wedding planner for Destination Weddings in Corfu. We also had a super last minute booking to capture Cynthia & Jason’s UK wedding at the end of July and then a week later I flew out to the island of Koh Samui, Thailand for their beach destination Wedding. I left on the Sunday and was away for 5 days, 2½ of which was travelling. I had to be back in the UK ready for another wedding the following Saturday.
Apologies for the lack of blog posts lately. We’ve been so busy with work, travelling around the UK and beyond that we’ve not had time for the luxury of blogging what we’ve been up to! Not that we’re complaining….we LOVE being as busy as we are!
[12th Aug 2014] We are based in the beautiful county of Somerset in England. We travel all over the UK and internationally capturing weddings and portraits. Having just come back from a destination beach wedding on the island of Koh Samui, Thailand (6 flights, 5 trains and 2 taxis in the space of 5 days) our energy and commitment to capturing your big day or portrait shoot as naturally as possible, wherever it may, be is second to none.
Sunset over The Pyramid Stage, Glastonbury Festival 2014, Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset.
My first Glastonbury Festival! I didn’t know what to expect to be honest. I heard it was awesome and there was so much to see! But wasn’t expecting it to be the scale it is! So much to see that even if the festival didn’t change in the course of 5 years you’d still not experience everything I doubt! Also nobody tells you that you go to Glastonbury Festival to get fit! I walked around 15miles on one day according to the Strava app on my phone! Continue reading »
Last week I was out in Corfu, Greece. I met up with Lorraine and her partner, Yiannis from Corfu Wedding Planner.

Waaaaaaay back in 1948 George Orwell was just about finishing a dystopian novel about life in 1984. Thankfully, it was a bit different to what actually happened in 1984 (GREAT book though!).
Amongst the many good and dreadful things that did happened in 1984, Apple launched the Macintosh Computer on 24th January in the USA and in no shadow of a doubt not only changed the computing world but changed the way millions of people do things in their everyday lives. Even for the most die-hard Windows or Linux user you can’t help but admire what Steve Jobs & Co. did and what Apple continue to do.
In our mission to provide beautiful wedding and portrait photography we use some of the best equipment that we know fits our style of photography.
Bride’s were asked what they’d spend more if they could do their wedding again. It’s not so much of a shock to us but now it’s been brought to more Bride-to-be’s attention!
Every wedding has it’s own unique moments, it’s own story and way it will be remembered; the bride’s beautiful dress, the moving speeches, the ushers forgetting the buttonholes, Bestman forgetting the rings, the bride getting dropped during her first dance, the Bestman having a flat tyre, the vicar getting the brides name wrong in the ceremony. These all make your wedding special and personal to you (and ones we’ve experienced first hand!). But if you’re already married, would you change anything from your day?
