I’ve definitely said this before on the blog but we are so blessed to live in such a wonderful area of the world. Even if it was for one reason alone (and there are many), The Quantock Hills are literally on our doorstep. A world renowned Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) the Quantocks are steeped in cultural history, natural beauty and distinctive character so outstanding that it’s in the nation’s interest to safeguard them. From a photographers point of view, no matter what you shoot, it’s a no brainer; Panoramic views, jurassic coastline, exposed heathland summits, deep wooded combes, wild ponies, undulating farmland and pretty villages with cafes and pubs serving food, ales, cider (of course) and cream teas!
Keri & Jonny are getting married this coming weekend near Liskeard at The Green Cornwall but met us (myself and Matilda) in Bridgwater for a catch up to chat about their wedding plans over a coffee. They then followed us out to the Quantocks for, like all of our shoots, a very laid back, natural session as you can see from the photos below. They’re a very fun couple with a great sense of humour who love the outdoors and walking so the Quantocks was perfect for the shoot.
I’m capturing their wedding on my own this weekend and I’m throughly looking forward to seeing them and capturing their wedding day! Anyhow, enough typing…on with the photos!
If you love what you see here then please recommend us to any couples you may know who are engaged or who are looking for wedding photographers. We’re available as a team, myself and Emily, or we have a single photographer package and are available to capture weddings all over the UK and abroad for destination weddings if that is your preferance. You can read more about our weddings and destination weddings on the links blow.
